At Physicians Educating People, we understand that there are times when people have a question as to whether or not a medical mistake was made during their care, or the care of a loved one. That's why we offer detailed medical record reviews to determine if the Standard of Care was not followed during a particular treatment timeframe.

The Power of Reviews for Identifying Medical Errors

Medical errors are a critical concern in healthcare, with potentially severe consequences for patient health. They can often occur due to inadequate training, misinterpretation of test results, distractions, failure to follow the standard of care, or communication breakdowns among healthcare providers. Detailed medical record reviews can catch these errors and bring them to light. During a medical record review, our physicians examine a patient’s history, diagnostic tests, and treatment plans to ensure that the standard of care was followed. For example, a review might uncover a delay in diagnosis and treatment that negatively impacted a patient, giving the patient and/or family the opportunity to seek the appropriate relief.
